Did you watch the Glee premiere?

I love the songs, the dancing, the writings, and the way Season 3 seems to be heading! Glee has definitely got the beat!

How cute was Blaine singing with the Cheerios?

I was just sad we didn’t get to hear Quinn sing this episode.

Loved the “Ding Dong the Witch” number too!

Gorgeous Glee Gowns

The Glee gals are utilizing their summer break to look fabulous. Check out these amazing photos!

Lea Michele is featured in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar and she looks phenomenal! I love the gowns and scenery in this photo shoot!

Dianna Argon was recently on David Letterman looking rather like, Marilyn Monroe.

My Gleefully Happy Cd

I love making cds for people. I really enjoy putting my favorite songs together to make someone happy. I decided to lift the mood at work (too much data entry can get a person down) so I made this mixed cd called, “Gleefully Happy”. It’s not all Glee music but it was heavily influenced. I know I will be rocking to this album in traffic on I-90. Hopefully it makes a few others smile too.

I’m bopping my head to P.Y.T. by Michael Jackson as the disc burns. It it toe tapping fun!

I Wish by Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life (This song always makes me smile!)

Try a Little Tenderness (Glee Cast Version) (Wow, Mercedes rocked this song and I really enjoy the original version too.)

Singing In the Rain / Umbrella (feat. Gwyneth Paltrow) [Glee Cast Version] (I love Singing in the Rain!)

Animal (Glee Cast Version) Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers (Blaine and Kurt singing together make me happy, plus this is an awesome 80s song.)

Melody by Kate Earl (The words to this song are beautiful.)

Hang On Little Tomato by Pink Martini (A great song for a bad Monday.)

You Make My Dreams Come True  by Hall & Oates (I wasn’t really aware of this song until seeing Knight and Day with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz and it’s so fun!)

Yoshimi Battle the Pink Robots, Pt. 1 by The Flaming Lips (A great kick butt song)

You Can Call Me Al byPaul Simon Graceland album (Love this whole album)

Chasing Pirates by Norah Jones from The Fall album (Appeals to my inner child)

Keep Breathing by Ingrid Michaelson (A good reminder at all times)

Pure Imagination (Glee Cast Version) (Also appeals to my inner child, who doesn’t love Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory)

P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) by Michael Jackson from the Thriller album (Always makes me want to dance)

Let It All Hang Out by Weezer from Raditude (This sums up traffic and getting to work late!)

Hope you enjoy my songs too!

Gorgeous gowns

Darlings, the MET ball was tonight and the sparkling celebrities are dressed to the nines. Here are some of my favorite dresses gracing the red carpet tonight.
Ashley Greene, of Twilight fame, wore a glittering strapless Donna Karan gown.
Gisele Bundchen wore a smoking red Alexander McQueen ballgown as a tribute to the late designer. I love her arms. What do you think she does to get that kind of definition?
Sofia Vergara wore a Carolina Herrera strapless jasmine white blossom print faille gown for the event. She has amazing and beautiful hair.
Salma Hayek is also wearing Alexander McQueen.
I wanted to like Quinn’s dress but it was a little intense. I think she and Rachel color-coordinated before the event.
Dianna Agron is fashion forward in Michael Kors Collection as she arrives at the MET Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday.
Lea Michele wore a custom-made Escada red silk faille gown which featured a siren fit with inset godet to enhance the dramatic silhouette. The gown was detailed with rough finished seams and intricate topstitching.

I want to dance!

[source] Every since I bought my new Bloch ballet flats, I’ve wanted to dance. After seeing Heather Morris’ dance moves I’m even more inspired.
I’m not sure if I’m feeling more like hip hop dance classes or taking up ballet again, perhaps both.

Here are some of Heather Morris’ dance tips, that I plan on employing:

The simplest way to do something cool is the cross-turn. Like in the ’80s — Michael Jackson did it. You jump and cross your legs together at the same time, and then spin out of it. That’s it.”

You know what’s really hot? Pop-and-locking, ticking. The moonwalk. Tricks like that.
The secret to moonwalking: You have to have slick shoes, or else your feet would get stuck. And you trick people. Your right foot pops, and you’re pushing your left foot back, and once your left foot lands, you do the same thing. It just looks like you’re gliding on air.”
