I’ve really enjoyed working from home and celebrating my last few days of my twenties with my husband. This weekend, we went wine tasting in Woodinville. We went to Avennia, Stevens and Pomum. It was a blast. We also had a friend over for dinner on Saturday night and it was a fun way to celebrate Chinese New Year too. On Sunday, we wandered through the Ballard Farmer’s Market, enjoyed the sunny weather and got cupcakes! Monday was not sunny and rather blustery, but we still enjoyed walking Discovery Park over my lunch break! We even celebrated Mardi Gras with eating with muffalettas and french onion soup at Toulouse Petit! In case, you were wondering, I was able to get 8 hours of work in too! Last night, my family all met up for my birthday dinner, two days before my 30th Birthday. I wore a new dress from Anthropologie in anticipation. My mom brought a fun cake from Delite Bakery too. I had never had it before and it was amazingly delicious! It was blueberry flavored! I love taking pictures with my sisters. Poor Taters had to go into work at 11pm, so she left without any cake. We got several great family photos at dinner! It’s so wonderful to be back in Seattle!
Today, we worked alot from home but did get a brief Caribbean lunch and coffee up the street from us! Tonight, we’re celebrating Chinese New Year with friends at one of our favorite places in the International District. We affectionally call it, Sketchy Chinese, and we love eating there!
